id be fine with moving him too. I just dont want to retain on him, not sure he brings much back the other way or is much of a negative impact on the team just playing out his 4 years left. Would like to save a retention slot for each dead line for expiring deals

Sure if the offer is right. Why not lol. Wouldnt hate just keeping him around though. Seeing how he does, what his next contract would look like and maybe trading at deadline before expiring depending on those things and state of the team then.

It doesn't. And Army already said he's not doing that. As for this retaining 2M for 4-5 years stuff, obviously that's never happening.
