Easiest f***ING no ever. You can't retain on just one year of a contract and no way in hell TB can afford the cap hit going forward

Wow haha you weren't kidding, this is big KraZy. I know I was bagging Sergey, but he's not goin anywhere, and Karlsson doesn't fit on the Bolts. Defensively, this is the worst we've been since 2019, Karlsson doens't help in that regard

Well SJ can retain some salary and TB will throw in some players in the minors. Which I thought may be needed to be done. Sergy is a better defensive player, but the Bolts need playmaking and scoring. It is just Point and Kucherov as playmakers.

Sergachev salary would be off the books next season. So that is 8+ million there.

This trade going into next season assuming an 83.5 cap would leave TB with 16 contracts and 4.2 mil cap space. Not having signed either Colton or Jeannot as I said earlier. Easiest No Ever.

I do!! I'd keep Sergachev and his 8x8.5 over Karlsson and his 5x11.5 all day long. Keep Karlsson moronic completely moronic to trade a 25yo Sergachev for a 33yo Karlsson and add on top of it.
