Think it's safe to assume that Yzerman won't be using that extra first in order to dump Chiarot.

Konecny is fine but he's a UFA in 2 years.

I like Killorn and Mayfield as UFA targets, but i think they would cost more than that on short term. Konecny would cost more than that but Killorn would be fine in that first line and Kubalik can play higher in the lineup too.

I don't mind this but I doubt Yzerman does this, he did sign Chiarot to a 4yr contract.
