You could atleast remove any amount retained on EK if trying to sneak either of those 2 in as a joke.

Sharks would essentially be paying one of the worst goaltenders in the league 8.5 mil for 4 more years.

Horrible retention for SJ, horrible return, just all around bad for them.

The idea is SJ rebuilding and bad goaltending will help with that rebuild, a 100pt defensemen will not. If EDM had to change Lavoie for Bourgault so be it. I don’t think there will be a lot of teams that will offer more then what I’ve proposed. Plan B would be is hopefully Campbell finds his game with having less pressure from the media and maybe SJ can flip him for a team looking for a goalie in a year, by that time the cap should have gone up significantly and 5 million won’t be so bad. It’s a gamble for both sides really.
