Adams already had offer for Kulich and turns them down he said in a press conference that he's not trading him or Savoie

A 2nd for Sturm is a bit rich, no? Especially since he would either be played on the 4th line or be a press box warmer.

Sturm, especially after a career year and noticeable strides this season following his cup run with the Avs, is way past being considered as a press box warmer at this point in his career. He's an everyday top-tier 4th line center who's capable of covering as a 3C in a pinch (his role with the Sharks this year). A 2nd is fair value. Could maaaybe even squeak out a late 1st since he has term and is cost-controlled.

On the Canes, I should say, he would either be a 4th liner or a press box warmer. I mean, I like the player, but for the Canes it doesn’t make much sense to send a 2nd just to get a marginal upgrade on the 4th line. I mean, the 4C spot next year is currently Stephan’s by the look of things, and at the very least from the AHL, Drury, Suzuki, Rees, and Ponomarev could all challenge for that spot. That’s assuming the Canes don’t go and pursue another middle 6 C in the off-season, which pushes Staal down to the 4C role in that scenario. All I’m saying is that for the Canes, a 2nd would be a bit rich, given the circumstances, even though I would agree it is probably fair value.

Sabres have some nice center depth, it would make sense to part with one of them for a player of Karlsson's caliber. If Big Kev wants to keep them both, we'd need Levi, Mittelstadt, or Peterka+ as part of the return.

Adam's is not giving up Levi after he just traded Portillo. Noah Östlun, Mittelstadt or Rosen would be up for grabs
