I love how the leafs ULTIMATE TEAM involves moving 13 Leaf players under contract after the TDL.

Flames wanted to dump Monahan and needed to give up a 1st rd.

If Murray is that good why don`t you keep him.

Monaghan was hurt costed two more mil and wasn’t playing well. Murray has played decent. Needs to move because of cap reasons. So why would he costa first to move. Isn’t a cap dump.

Listen , it will never happen. What will most likely happen is that the HABS offer sheet Filip Gustavsson for 5 years at $6.25M (Who is worth a hell of a lot more than Murray). Minnesota will not be able to match unless they move pieces. It will cost us a 1st and 3rd round pick.

Habs will never offer sheet someone again in the next five years. You aren’t in the position to even let go of picks anyways.

Everyone has to remember that the Draft is a Box of Chocolates, you never know what you gonna get. I`d rather bet on a sure thing. Look at our #1 pick last year (a total bust)

Pretty easy decline for vegas…retaining for 3 years for a group of JAGs. Smith is a great PK, plays on the PP and is a top 6 guy. This one doesn’t make any sense

Murray is a cap dump, no question about it. Look at his last 5 games, also he has only been able to play 22 games and has been stupidly inconsistent the entire time.
