In terms of the who would they draft, Boldy makes sense. In terms of best available, it's Caufield 100% at 4 or 5. Caufield has 50 goal+ upside and hasn't even played on a good team yet, imagine him on a team that actually had more then one line so he wasn't focused on constantly. Also one thing that I look at is the fact that Boldy is much more reliant on the PP and secondary assists then Caufield was. Boldy has nearly half of his points on the PP (48.9%) and 30% of his overall points are secondary assists. Caufield on the other hand has 22% of his points as secondary assists and 27.7% of his points on the PP. I would agree that Boldy is better defensively but Caufield isn't shabby and I think Caufields other upsides out way it.
