I’m pretty sure Barzal is out for the rest of the season. Possibly playoffs.

Clutterbuck has alot more experience than fasching, if you play Clutterbuck you have one of the best 4th lines in the league.

Clutterbuck has played about 1,000 games in the nhl. Fasching has played about 40. It would make sence to play Clutterbuck because he has more experience

Idk why Dubas would trade the leafs best middle 6 winger. Kamf looks lost without him, Laf ferry is a 4th liner

yeah you dont watch hockey admit it tears of joy 6'5 and uses none of it, could play a whole game with eggs in his pants and they wouldnt crack, this is coming from a guy who is trying to clown a team who has been comfortably in the playoffs since november and his is fighting for a spot and might not even make it, its pure comedy it really is

Oh now leafs fans want to talk about physicality. He can score goals and forecheck at a very high level. Good luck with kamf and Lafferty who can play physical but can’t score or play competent defense without someone else on the line driving the play.

3 goals and a primary assist for Engvall in his last 3 games. Guy is outperforming every player in the leafs bottom 6.

Leafs fans shouldn’t be bragging about being comfortable in a playoff spot, ya gotta make it past the 1st rd 1st!

maybe if you take a time machine back to 2018 that would be true but the Martin-Cizikas-Clutterbuck line has not been good for at least a season and a half.

Fasching drives play, has provided an unexpected scoring touch (6-6-12 in 37 GP for a guy who came into this season with 3 points in 38 NHL GP) and has good chemistry with Cizikas. I love Cal, but he's 35 and the injuries are piling up with him. I don't think he's someone you just leave in the press box for an entire playoff run, but I also think benching a younger guy with more offensive upside(but a similarly effective defensive game) would be a bad move.

career high of 15 goals and ZERO playoff goals tears of joy and well yeah you gotta make the playoffs to make it past the first round, which the isles are fighting for so maybe lets wait until the isles make it before trying to clown the leafs

15 goals averaging 13 min a night is above average. He’s also elite in transition and well above average defensively.

My point is that Dubas trading Engvall made the 3rd line significantly worse , kamf is barely playable without Engvall on his line

Bailey would likely be the odd man out.
