Montreal says no on the first trade, also what are the conditions on the 2025 Florida pick because that pick is conditionally in the Monahan trade so it has to have conditions incase Montreal gets it.

The problem with the Calgary trade is that this would only happen if Matthew sign/trade, without a garantee contrac, Flame won't offer that.
And we all know he won't accept to sign in Calgary, Bedard/Matthews are the next Coyotes Superstar :P

If they are contending, they probably should. Rentals aren't free, especially a guy like Matthews. Its a decent upgrade on Lindholm, and the 1st isn't a great one, plus Weegar hasn't been great so far.
