Disagree with scratching Joshua and Aman. They've both been solid for us IMO.

No retention needed on Myers if you trade him after July 1 to someone like Anaheim who can absorb the paper cost of his entire cap hit. But I disagree with @remowilliams in that I think the Canucks would still have to pay for him. However, it's entirely possible that he's right and I'm wrong.

I dont really care if im wrong or right im just expressing MY opinion.Im pretty sure that someone will give us a pick for a huge D man with years of experience on a one milliin dollar contract.Again its just my opinion/guess like all of us on here im not a real G.M. lol.

Sure, 1M in salary, but 6M against the cap. Big difference.

What teams would value a high cap hit with low real cost that aren't bottom feeders this year? Those types of teams are looking to add picks to solve other teams cap problems for their rebuilds, it's incredibly unlikely they will part with a pick for the Chaos Giraffe.

Beauvillier has looked like a changed man since he got to Vancouver, and as the cheapest of the scoring wingers, I would imagine he sticks around or at least nets a better return. Anaheim would give you that offer this off-season without retention for him.

You'll find a taker for Meyers without retention if you're offering a 4th along for the ride.

Don't see the need to get Jarry, Demko is the starter there, money used on him should be spent shoring up the defense and bottom 6.

I don't think Hoglander's been doing well with us. I'd rather Coghlan and a 3rd or a 4th than Hoglander as he better suits our needs as a right shot d-man. (Him being from BC is a nice bonus as well)
