At the age of 31, Kuznetsov has two seasons left on his contract and averages 0.8 points per game over his career. At the same age, Miller will be starting on a SEVEN-season contract, and despite his stellar last two seasons, scores at the rate of 0.75 points per game over his career. The danger of Miller's contract turning into a bad one may not be high, but it's there. All of which suggests to me that Washington shouldn't be adding in this deal.

That's a terrible deal for Vancouver. Kuznetsov has no value for us.

Ya that makes some sense, the only issue is that in that deal the caps end up with the better player and the better prospect. Don’t think it would happen

Imo Kuzy is the better player when he is motivated and wants to be. He has all the talent in the world. Need something to get underneath him. Plus Miller extension is rough.
