And no freaking way any team pays a 2nd round pick for Beauvillier.

I'd actually like Beauvillier, but he is UFA after next season, so a 2nd is a high price to pay for a potential rental that will want a raise to stay. His cap hit isn't terrible considering he plays up and down the lineup. I'd rather take a run at him as a UFA in a year, but really, hopefully, Zadina can start contributing offense, and Ras gets better. Just a scenario of right player, wrong time with this trade.

I dont see a lot of teams giving a 2nd for Beauvillier. Maybe at the TDL? The UFA thing is a deal breaker, as team and player want different things. Vancouver is better off running with Beauvillier.

Raty is a bust. He will top out at 3C.

very bold to call a 20 year old a bust. first year in NA and hes been traded and played for 4 different teams in 2 different countries. Let him have a good summer and see how he looks to start next year (likely in the AHL)

For Raty, he was a top 5 prospect at one point, even ranked at 1 if I recall. He fell pretty hard in tbe draft board. When guys like him fall, it usually means bust. Raty is probably an NHLer, but take it from a guy who has to watch Joe Veleno and Zadina play; both are NHLers, but both are busts based on pre-draft rankings and actual draft position. All the potential is there, but guys who fall from pre-draft rank positions often fell for a reason.
