Why trade a 1st for Lundqvist just to bench him for a mehhh replacement via FA signing? Radko does give you grit but at the expense of Lundqvist development.

Suter is a possible buyout candidate, but I don't see Nill entertaining a Faksa buyout. He's viewed differently among the Stars brass than he is among the fanbase.

As far as the Gudas signing goes....why? Makes no sense to sign another bad RD that will further push Lundkvist down the lineup. Stars need to find a way to get rid of their bad RD (Hakanpaa) instead of bringing in another one.

As far as the Perry signing, it's more likely that someone like Blumel wins that forward spot out of camp than it is the Dallas goes out and signs a bottom-6 UFA.
