We're 0-4 against the sabres this season and gave up like 25 goals in the process, they own us. I'm not having any fun.

As did Colorado before the Wings became HOCKEYTOWN. It's in the description. 90s rivalry means both teams climb together in the standings with Buffalo as the big brother. They may get there first, but Detroit can get there and stick around for a bit as well.

During the climb why not have some fun and embrace the common struggle together lol they absolutely own Detroit.

Mild in comparison to rock'em sock'em days, but just hearing the unedited hatred "in the" moment from some of the players was nostalgic to see.

Skinner and Larkin just wouldn't stop going at it, random players taking shots at one another, Seider getting targeted a smidge while building his ascension (completely within the line), Tage becoming Lindros + inflation, goals galore and big saves, prospects and young players making an impact, all gold!

Also, Florida vs Ottawa was probably more exciting.

We're never going to see those kids of rivalries again. The levels of hate and violence to facilitate something like 90s wings/Avs or old time Boston/Montreal just isn't in the game any longer.

Very true, it also just shows how much better athletes are today lol. The NHL video game commercial is like hockey's version of "Evolution of Dance"
