Such a silly statement.. If we have a healthy caufield and Suzuki and dach and another good center that first line would get lots of points 80 pts for suzuki and 40 goals for caufield and probably 75 pts for dach and then suzuki is first line right..

Rather large ifs, have a look at numbers over visual tests and assumptions. This is the same strategy as price and Roy habs. But we will see

honestly suzuki had 65 points playing without caufield for half a year and with laval callups the last month... of course he would have got 80 points with healthy linemates.. it is not a reach at all.

All I’m saying is that they need more élite offensive talent, I would be praying that Michkov falls to you, and i wouldn’t be overly worried about buying Dubois til you have checked more boxes, possibly bjarson from Brandon and keep adding blue liners til you hit on some elite top end ones. Spoiled by price and Roy, hopefully the next one is on his way.

oh i agree with you whole heartedly we need more elite talent and I hope we win the lottery and get it or draft Smith and get it there ... if we fail to get a good center then maybe you are more interested in dubois...However dubois is linmited in that i dont feel he makes others better and he needs to be surrounded with talent... so lets hope for bedard or Fantilli or clarsson or smith... no russian for me thank you

Just seems to me that Dubois is so redundant with dach and Suzuki on the roster, ideally dach turns into a sniping winger possibly. Dubois is basically a more physical Suzuki, with both their ceiling basically around that point per game neighborhood. Couldn’t figure it out right where it made sense, but possibly a move on from Suzuki and move him to Winnipeg and try to gain possibly perfetti and Dubois, maybe heinola or Samberg. Kind of a blockbuster that gives Winnipeg the cost certainty of Suzuki to give them the ability to extend helly and scheifele, and saves some money for Montreal and adds some offensive talent. Along with the two first rounders this year.

No we like suzuki more than dubois this would not even be considered and does not make us better .. It would be doing winnipeg a big favour.. no even to be considered
