I'm not. I won't pretend to know how much input and/or impact he had on the decision-making, but I expected FSG to clean house and place their own choices in those jobs after a full year at the helm. If Sullivan wasn't about to begin the first year of his extension I think he'd be out the door as well.

All Burke did was go on TV and rant about random topics mostly to HNIC. He belongs back in their studio and far away from an NHL front office.

Again, you nor I know what impact he really had. Personally, I think he would have been a better GM than Hextall, but that's not very hard to do. I just think after FSG got to see a full season under their watch they were going to clean house completely to install their own guys.
He was there barely two years, and this was the only time PIT had missed the playoffs.
Unless he was directly involved in the roster moves PIT made over the offseason and before the deadline, but I assumed that would be mostly in Hextal and his AGM's hands.
Like Mr_Gardoki said above, I'm not claiming to know the ins and outs of the management staff.

He wasn’t there any longer than Hextall was, they were a packaged deal.
