Dube’s worth a 1st + Cheap Roster Player and Vladar’s worth a 2nd

We already have Huberdeau, Mangiapane, Ruzicka and Pelletier at LW, so where would Beau fit in!?

Also, Beau’s a Pending UFA at twice the price of RFA Dube, doesn’t produce any more than Dube offensively and doesn’t Kill Penalties like Dube, so CGY would have no interest in doing this at all imo

Would have to be something more like a 2024 1st Round Pick + either Nils Åman, Ethan Bear, Kravtsov, Hoglander, McDonaugh, Linus Karlsson, Jett Woo or Filip Johansson (these are all guys I believe to be fringe NHL’ers = NHL Ready/Capable, but nothing special and certainly not sure things like Dillon Dube is)

VAN’s 2025-2nd Round Pick might work for Vladar, otherwise we’re looking at a 3rd + any of the guys above. Otherwise either Aatu Raty, LD Prospect Elias Pettersson or Arturs Silvos might be sufficient by themselves as well

Dube is worth a 2nd at best. Vladar has to moved to make room for Wolf, everyone knows this so if you got a 3rd for him you'd be lucky. Beauvillier plays both wings. The Flames need a shake up or they can finish next season just like this season, so some players won't be back. Would up the offer to Van's 2023 & 2024 3rds, maybe.

Dube returns a 1st+ or he doesn’t get traded, it’s that simple. He’s Hard Working, Physical, Plays all 3 Forward Positions, on the Power Play and is Dangerous on the Penalty Kill. He’s just as good, if not better than Mikheyev already, Younger, 1/2 the cost and an RFA. Lots of value there. A 1st doesn’t guarantee you’ll get an NHL Player, let alone a good one with Top-6 potential like Dube has
