But that’s hard to say no to! Bunch of cap space, multiple 1sts and 2nds for two players 1 who would be at the end of his career when we’re good again and the other at the end of his prime.

Yeah when you take out the business side of managing a hockey team as if revenue doesn't matter. It's not even remotely realistic and would get Grier fired immediately.
