Description

I swear I did not make the cap fit perfectly on purpose. It just happened and it blew my mind.

I had the Leafs beating Tampa 4-1 in my playoff predictions. I thought Toronto were the better team. I was wrong. Tampa outplayed them virtually all series. But the Leafs battled hard and ended up winning. I'll take it.

I assume Tampa runs a similar roster next year minus Killorn.

The big problem I see is that their depth is taking a big hit. Each year they are losing a little depth. A few of their AHL depth guys will need to come alive and take big steps for Tampa to remain competitive.

Thoughts? Think something bigger will happen?

As much as I loved Maroon-PEB-Perry, I'd rather use the cap you spent on both Stepan and PEB either upgrading for a backup G or helping the right side D.
I think we can at least fill the void left at 4C through either an internal promotion from Syracuse or a younger FA option, which sucks considering how effective he could be at times.
Also if you're spending 1.2M on a goalie with Ned's stats you might as well bring back Brian Elliott for another year at that point.
