In what world does Buffalo give up all the good players and get garbage in return?

They do not need the younger prospect like Quinn anymore, they're ready to win now. They get rid of greenways cap and also gain toughness in Freddy and also a good puck moving top 4 defenseman in greiz.

You are clearly out of your mind if you actually believe any of that. Buffalo would never help a division rival like this by eating all of their bad cap decisions and giving them productive young players. They just acquired Greenway, and they did so on purpose, they have no reason to give him up now. Quinn was a productive rookie on a cheap contract, and they can win now with him. If Buffalo wanted Grzelcyk, which they don’t because they don’t need new left defenders, he would be worth a sixth round pick because Boston is desperate to get rid of his cap hit.
