draft picks could be as high as a second for taking $6,000,000 for one year.
Boston sheds cap while Buffalo adds a Forbort who can PK

        Draft picks.
Could be another team who wants to add a 28 goals to their team
        CAR
Olofsson is traded at the TDL to make room for Kulich and Savoie
          4.
          BUF
Barkley Goodrow will not be traded to Buffalo, unless there are some serious sweeteners added.
While he would be a great addition to the bottom 6, his $3,641,667 salary until 2026-27 would not fit into the Sabres plans in two years when Quinn and Peterka will be looking for raises.
            NYR
Buffalo would not likely have any interest with Goodrow.
              5.
              BUF
                Jeff Petry
Taking on $6,250,000 until 2024-25 would required significant compensation.
HIghly unlikely Terry Pegula would accept a trade for Jeff.
Pittsburgh would not want to give Buffalo the compensation required to absorb $12,500,000.
                PIT
Buffalo would not likely have any interest with Petry.
                  6.
                  BUF
                    Tyler Myers.
Over paid, under performing, not on the Sabres radar.
Even at $1,000,000 he would most likely be scratched with Jokiharju and Lyubushkin in the line up.
NO DEAL unless a first round pick is included.
                    VAN
Buffalo would not likely have any interest with Myers

Take Girgensons, Okposo out. You will probably have Savoie and Kulich taking spots. Funny a 6.75m D can't be added, but a 8 or 9mill winger can. One year is not gonna kill them. I want younger and good to play next to Power, unless we get lucky we are gonna be paying close to that anyway for a Top 3-4D

Yes but petry is neither of those things

Yes, that's why it says unless we get Lucky after it! Buffalo has nothing in there prospect pool to fill that need, they either are gonna pay a vet hopefully on a short term while a you hopefully Draft a one to have in a couple years. Or your trading assets for a younger Dman that will cost you money anyways.

Well the whole point in amassing the amount of picks they have is for this exact kind of trade. One or two of their 80 forward prospects should be used to make that deal. It's better value short and long term.

                      1) - The rumoured asking price was leaked by sabres reporters. An attempt to save face

2)- Comrie had an 18 game sample size. Boosh didnt have good analytics when he signed. He had okay ones in ARZ and was pretty bad in Toronto. His analytics were bad here too. He's not good

                      3) - I just dont know how many more excuses we can take from this group. Sabres fans seem to have endless patience. Im pretty much done with them if they dont take advantage of what is there.

No, I meant that interest in Chychrun was reported a long time ago.

From what I understand, they didn't only watch Comrie last season, he was indeed an interesting option in the market, but we didn't know if he could be a starter. Oddly, Boosh had decent metrucs in Arizona and Toronto fans seemed to like him. Boosh is fine before the injury, he's a good third pair D.

Team has shown progress and it is very young. Adams did a good job, but probably a little less than it should have been. I'm fine with it and looking to improvements next season.

Thats absolutely not true. I mean it was when he was the shiny new toy for 10 minutes but there's a reason they let him walk. His metrics before/after injury were all bad. Idk where you are getting this from.

Im looking forward to some big moves. If they dont come, Im looking forward to that finally being the last straw to sever the emotional ties i have to this team. Win-win.

Win-win.

He got injured early in the season, let's see how he plays when he's healthy. Because he looked good in Arizona.

Well the whole point in amassing the amount of picks they have is for this exact kind of trade. One or two of their 80 forward prospects should be used to make that deal. It's better value short and long term.

I totally agree and that's why I have stated that any trade for Petry if it ever happened probably happens around FA and the Sabres have a better idea of there D situation
