You could, but run the risk if you sign him before RFAs are signed. Cap will be nearly maxed out, exposibgvteam to offer-sheet. Preferably, you would have Miller and Laf sorted out early, sign Kane in the 10% grace period, then open him on SOLTIR.

Kind of risky but could make sense. No real reason for an already cap-strapped Vegas to take that contract. Also for 5m they might as well re-sign Tarasenko or someone of a higher caliber than Burtuzzi. Solid team though
