Hey NYI fans would this get me Aho

Description
Aho has alot of good stats in the defensive zone. We have had a problem with that in the playoffs so adding a cheap dman who does the advanced stats well costs a price(I don't have a clue what his value is).

As far as the 2nd line LW I was also considering Haula and Barbashev(but I think hell be out of our price range),

Domi isn't a good fit IMO... would rather have a Killorn, Bertuzzi, Tarasenko, Tatar, JVR, Monahan, Staal, Zucker etc. bc of Domi's size

Like I said I also considered Haula and Barbahev but he ended up being a contract I didn't like. Ofc I like Killorn too but I think somehow TB will resign him somehow lol

A majority of isles fans dont think Aho is an NHL caliber defenseman , the coach liked him, not sure how the GM values him. I’m sure it would take less to trade for him if Lou stays as the GM.

He was elite in a 2nd/3rd pair role this season , I think he can be a full time 2nd pair D as long as he plays with another 2nd pair caliber defenseman

Doesn't matter that hawks made a bad trade last year, wings pass. Not giving up a 2nd back for Murray and to help a divisional rival out of cap issues. Try the hawks again, wings won't do it

While that may be true, that’s a solid package for him. Lafferty could replace one of the expired identity liners, Robertson is a solid prospect, and the Vancouver 2nd is a good pick

Killorn is more of a placeholder name as I think he's going to the highest bidder but TO should try to get bigger and faster, not smaller and faster and I don't trust Steeves to be a full time NHLer

I agree, I said it would probably take less to acquire him. It would make the backend worse though

Absolutely agree. I just have a hard time finding that guy in this class. If you have names, I'd love to hear who you think that is available!

Ik you guys have cap issues so would you do Brodie 25-35% retained, Laf, Nicky Rob and a 2nd for Aho and Bailey? Or is Bailey too much?

I mean I was reviewing his dzone exits and how good was he under pressure and getting the puck out because that has been a huge problem for us these playoffs and he was graded very well, so that's why I did that trade and said I have no clue abt his value. I would value it around what I did or even slightly more depending on which gm even cares abt those advanced stats

What's wrong with him out of curiosity? One question I have is he good defensively as a forward also? Also does Aho throw hits?

Yes he’s undervalued , great underlying numbers and plays with intensity. Your trade package would definitely get it done

Bert, Zucker, Tatar, Compher, Johnsson, Ant, Namestikov, Haula, Barbashev, Rodrigues wouldn't be a bad shout
