Not sure why either team would want that trade with Risto and Anderson but I guess it wouldn’t hurt either of them

Montreal is not trading a useful top 6 power forward for a BS good for nothing RD. Thanks but no thanks, we don't need the Jonathan Drouin of defense when we just got rid of the original JD.

wanted to demonstrate that JA doesent have that much value and RD dont grow on trees even "bad" ones

Look at his defensive output this year. Risto was lowkey elite defensively last year. Now id rather get picks for Andy and maybe use Armia instead for Risto

Torts really did fix Risto's game this year. The offense is gone but he was solid defensively and the metrics show it. Obviously he's not worth his contract but he's not a liability anymore either.

He was good on PP but also his offence can be brought back by having a forward group that isnt half dead like the Flyers have been

I'm adamant that the Habs need to add a good RHD to their roster.
...but Risto is NOT the solution.
