Why do these Dubois trades get worse and worse when Florida is likely at 29th and not 17th just asking

Don't sweat it...everyone knows that trading for PLD would cost more than Norlinder and a late 1st. This one is on the VERY low side.

Yea, because it's an overpay, let's be honest. Comtois for the 36/37th overall alone isn't enough. He's a 3rd/4th line player

Because Habs fans are killing everyone with this PLD bs...even I'm tired of it. Yea Winnipeg would get more for PLD at the TDL

Like no matter what Dubois does mtl needs to beat the rental offer/ best offer available. We can assume a contenders 1st in 2024 a b tier prospect and some other piece that is young/ another b prospect/ nhl player with upside and cap if need be. The pick dropping to 29th is a major loss for the Habs as at a point of the season it was pick 10.
