Who said he doesn't want to resign? That's all speculation at this point.

I wouldn't want to trade DeBrincat for two iffy prospects who probably won't play in the NHL this year and two late seconds.

If Pierre Dorian moves Alex DeBrincat that offer is easily beaten, You're not getting DeBrincat without moving your 1st round pick. And DeBrincat isn't signing long term with Carolina for only $8,000,000 per. Good luck getting a potential 40 goal and 80 point winger for anything less than 8 x $8,500,000 if not more.
