Description

Ownership won't commit to rebuild but maybe if lindy and hanifin aren't signing they retool on the fly.

Lindy and Hanifin sign in Columbus. CBJ 2024 pick is Top 3 protected.

Canucks clear some cap without losing a pick, just moving down.

Flames can still sell Backlund, Tanev and/or Zadorov at the deadline if it looks like they're going to miss.

I was just saying on FN that maybe a Flames and Jackets trade could go down, but more like this:
To Cgy: 3rd Overall pick 2023 draft (The highest CGY has EVER picked)
To CLB: Elias Lindholm plus 16th Overall 2023 draft

I've had Habs fans say their would be interest in Vladar. Doesn't really matter anyways, could be any team.

Your value is fine, some may be interested in adding another mid G but I'm not nor do I think management wants to either.

No thanks on that. Would much rather have a high quality center that fits the timeline of the bulk of the Jackets roster than a player that's going to help them with a short window that likely only gets them into the playoffs for a couple first round exits.
