That would be so great. Trade price for something half his value. Then put horvat nets because he's probably better than any other mtl goalie

No; not anymore. If Price was available 3 years ago, then for sure. We have a bad team and price is going to be 31 - that's not a good fit. Best goalie in the world, but probably for only 3-4 years max - Horvat is gonna be a good center for the next 10.

...now if you want Markstom, we might have something.

Price would not be an easy player to trade, not really any teams would be able to pay the price MTL would want

No Vancouver would not do that. Although from B.C. Price does not fit with Vancouver's rebuild and trading their #1 centre would set them back years. Price has not won a cup in Montreal so going to Vancouver to play behind an even worse team would result in Van not winning the cup but also not completely bottoming out and doing a full rebuild. If Price is dead set on only playing in Vancouver because he is from that province then he can come for free via free agency. Overall there really isn't a good fit between both Price and the Canucks at this point in Price's career and Vancouver's rebuild

At first glance, I was completely shocked that Vancouver fans aren't running away with this deal.
After reading though, I understand. It's about needs, and this would cripple Vancouver after all. But I still think Price is worth at least one and a half Horvat's.

Wow! Im shocked. The fact that you guys are either gonna draft Vilardi or Glass, and the hefty compensation you'll receive for the Sedins on TDL, youd think you wouldn't be so far away from a rebuild.
