Drury's got his work cut out for him this offseason, so long as the Rangers have Igor locked up on a steal of a 5.5m AAV contract they HAVE to try and contend, you can't waste a contract like that.

-RWs are the biggest need, first off I signed Hinostroza on a low risk contract. I think he's a very good top 9 winger who's always been underrated and can move up and down the lineup. I think Lafreniere can have success under a new system, he's had trouble on the right side in the past so hopefully putting him with two skilled players despite having him on the 3rd line can give his production a boost, on top of giving him more special teams time. Him, Miller and Chytil are our 3 biggest RFAs this season, and while we do have the capability to resign all of them, I got creative and decided to trade Miller for Vilardi. I'll admit I don't know much about the Kings need but on paper it does look like they need a Dman and they have an excess of wingers, so give or take a pick or two I think this could be a path Drury goes down. Vilardi would slide right in as our 2RW.


-To replace Miller I signed Graves in UFA, hopefully that contract is enough since it doesn't look like Devils would be able to resign him, he plays a lot like Miller although he doesn't have his upside, would still make a worthy replacement though.

-Getting rid of Goodrow is necessary for us to save cap space. I have him here as getting traded to any team willing to take him for nothing but if it takes a mid round pick to dump him then so be it, or just buy him out. Whatever gets rid of his cap.
