If Colton is willing to sign that deal, he'll stay in Tampa. Bolts can afford that contract.

I feel like he’d be willing to sign cheaper here than in Tampa though. He has made it quite clear that he would love to play here and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him take a very team friendly deal

Ok. So in this scenario he tells Tampa he won't sign and wants to be traded to NJ? Yegor and picks isn't a package Tampa would want. Yegor could cost as much or more than Colton. I'm guessing Tampa would want Bahl for sure, and probably Mcleod or another NHL ready forward on an ELC. Tampa's GM isn't going to want picks. They're still in "win now" mode.
