As a Red Wings fan, I accept without a second thought, but I'd be shocked if Winnipeg did.

This would be a detriment to the Jets unless they've decided to do a full rebuild. Even if a rebuild is the plan, if I was the Jets, I'd want at least one A tier and one B tier prospects coming back plus the mentioned picks. Would have to throw in someone like Kasper as the A tier to even get this close - likely would even need two A tiers. Connor is a point per game player with term - those are expensive.

Niederreiter alone could be had for quite a bit less but it'd take quite a bit more for Kyle Connor alone.

Starting price for Connor is 9 and Boston's 2024 pick plus a prospect (Mazur, Lombardi, Johannsson).
