Additional Details:

Just playing with this idea, Rangers take a safe route and get a cost effective player with comparable play to this point, with a cheap as can be contract. Can play RW in the middle 6. Shouldn't be too expensive to resign either, Also get a mid-second rounder to possibly deal to get Goodrow off their books or provides other flexibility.

Before I get hate, I don't know what the value would be here, I just see this framework as a possible win-win. Rangers get a cheap piece on the RW and a 2nd rounder which could help. The trade allows them to focus on Miller's deal, and maybe resign Tarasenko.

Murray has been a healthy scratch.....

Rangers don't have to deal Laf but they do have to deal with the re-signing of key young players and he is one of them.

Yeah but if you're not going to put in effort to develop them then what's the point? I tried an idea based on needs with a question on value.
