Signing Wood isn't a good use of cap space

Buf gets replacement for Bush, not the same I know, but younger guy who cant break into NJ (unless he's the placeholder for Nemec, could be I guess, but D is then too green IMO). A jump on others looking at lean RHD ufas. Lybushkin (2x $2.75M adds the size Fitz loves and keeps the set warm for Nemec)

From what I gather, Lyubushkin is genuinely bad at the NHL level, so much so that I'd be quite confident in Walsh being outright better than him at this point in time.
I think Tanev, DeMelo and Grzelcyk would be way better options as short term quality stopgaps for next season. None of them should be very costly to trade for.
