Are you serious? Lowry is a depth player. Krebs and Savoie are both equivalent to first round picks, but they're already NHL ready. This is way too much for BUF to pay for a year of Hellebuyck

Don't see why Buffalo would move Savoie for possibly 1 year with Hellebuyck

Lowry does so much for the city and is a fan favourite. He has a good chance of becoming the captain. He’s not getting traded. Krebs and savoie are good but krebs is a second liner at max and probably not even that and we already have lambert who’s the same player as savoie but better

I don't think Buffalo does that, but Hellebuyck won't be traded as a rental if he is moved, he'll go to a team where he wants to extend, so the offer would need to be comparable with extended offers. Even if you only want him for a year.

Depth player lol way to expose yourself the man has single handedly shutdown other teams top lines for half a decade in Winnipeg, check his TOI. Just because you dont put up 80 points a year doesnt make you a depth player

TOI for this season was 15:39, not exactly logging huge minutes. But I get it, he's a fan favorite. There are plenty of guys out there that do the exact same thing. I'm not devaluing what he does for the team, but that's much easier to replace than an 80 pt player. And there's no way he's doing it single handedly, cause the last time I checked, 1 guy can't defend against 3 by himself.
