The Final 3 GMs Candidates

Created by: pensfan21

Description
Per Elliotte Friedman Pens are down to MacKinnon, Tulsky, and Darche as their finalists. Not sure if there are more, but seems the list was cut down significantly. What are your guys thoughts on this? Personally I want Darche out of those 3. President of Hockey Ops I'd like Botterill (apparently he wants that job over GM), but Chayka could be interesting there. Botterill/Darche for me though is a winning combo.

I was kind of hoping that Ventura would still be in the running. Don't really know why, but he just seems to be a good option.

Honestly Darche/Tulsky are both great options, can't really go wrong with either

I don't see that they are the final 3 candidates. I could see Chayka as President of Hockey Operations and building out a big analytical department.

Tulsky/Darche as GM and Chayka as President could be very good....

I think Bergevin could've been a good president of hockey ops. But if this is the final 3 for gms I'd want Tulsky. For president of hockey ops I'm thinking Chayka or Botterill

I don't think Chayka and Tulsky would be the best pairing. Cause Tulsky and Chayka are both very very heavy on the analytics. If we go Tulsky we need someone like Botterill with more of a hockey sense to balance it out. That's why I like Darche a lot. With the Stanley cup background and some of his draft steals in late rounds I feel he's the best fit for the team. Don't get me wrong though, Tulsky is still good. I just think he needs to be paired with the right guy.

Yeah that's mainly why I said Chayka or Botterill.

Tulsky with Botterill or Darche with Chayka.
