The same Ty Smith who played 9 NHL games this season and was traded for John Marino last off-season is worth $4.8M/yr and a 1st and 2nd pick? Not to mention, JJ Moser played all 82 games and was their 3rd highest player in TOI. HE's not going to be a healthy scratch to Ty Smith and Ryan freaking Merkley.
