Would you guys do a Labanc swap for Mantha, but retain a little to even the salaries?

I like these trades and the LeBlanc thing proposed above may be good as well. The only issue is i believe we have to change the 2nd in the Keller trade to a first in 2024 and move the third to 2025. Thats the only way I see this working out.

I could get with that but honestly I don’t really want a guy almost in his 30s taking up that roster spot when we have much younger guys who are ready to play up, I think the moves should be to attain assets & most likely the will be.

I like that a lot, I mean the prospects in the system look great so far and after this year I don’t think we’ll need two consecutive years of drafting high in the first as long as we have a second or multiple thirds we’ll be fine

Oh one other thing, juggle your bottom 6. I would bring Oshie up to the third line RW, move McMike to LW, put Frank at his natural center and put the Viper on the fourth line moving NAK to right wing, i think those lines would function better and obviously move McMkie and Protas between those lines based on performance

Almost every time I see a mock that sends Lappy away, I don't like it. This is different. As much as I want to reap the benefits of stealing him in the draft, I can't pass up Keller. He was over a point per game on the yotes... kid is a stud.

I don't see a world in which Arizona accepts this trade, since Kuzy is older and more expensive, and Keller has been their franchise face with no real reason to trade him. I'd say Schmaltz is much more realistic as a target from Arizona, and Kuznetsov would have to be shipped elsewhere (maybe to Colorado with some retention involved, for example)
