No the return is pathetic. Wilson will not be traded (with retention!!) for a single Late 1st, everything else in the proposal has little or no value. There are multiple teams across the League that would pay far more for Wilson with at least one A+ Asset.

50% retained with only one season isn't really a huge deal for Washington since they're briefly retooling anyways, Alex Steeves is a solid prospect. I think a 1st + 3rd + Mid tier prospect is a decent return for a middle 6 winger

Steeves is a nothing prospect, and the 1st is quite late. Washington is going to extend Wilson anyway but even if they went to trade him, the ask for Wilson would be at least a 1st and a high prospect, regardless of what his perceived value is, as he carries much more value to Washington than one might expect, and retention would cost even more especially considering that teams got extra picks simply for retaining ~1.25 million at the deadline.
