    Idk why not? If to add aging start player why not add someone that is actually liked. Plus contract expires next year giving cap to sign Kakko and possibly add something.

    Leafs don't have the cap or interest in a 3.6m 3rd/4th liner. No team on Goodrow's trade list does.

    if drury knows what good for him he will sign Lindy to an extension with equal term to that remaining on Fox. slight bump in pay. Lindy is the ketchup to foxy's french fries. Sure french fries are good by themelves, but they are better with ketchup.

    I said the same about Toronto yesterday but then I had two different Leafs fans tell me otherwise because of injury money?

    Also the Blackhawks will probably consider a Goodrow trade. It was reported that they’re interested in eating some contracts this offseason.

    Four years is a lot to eat a an unnecessary contract. But what's the sweetener? No the Leafs don't have cap. The cap is still 83.5m for "active players"

    Well it isn't NYR if there isn't dead cap from buyout. Besides that only bites us when Panarin is off the table. And you can build with that in mind.
