Description

Canucks are kind of in a weird spot right now where they are a bad team with basically no prospects and are wasting the prime years of Petey, Hughes, Demko, etc.

The Miller signing and OEL trade ruined their window as they have two older players locked into big deals, so a first-round pick this year might be worth trading for a few prospects that could have an impact sooner.

With the habs top 6 relatively set for the future, I don't think these guys will get an opportunity to succeed and a move like this could fit both teams.

I’m just here to say Marleau to be bought out of his $6.25M caphit cost 13oa so there is precedent where moving 11oa to dump Myers is the likely cost.

Maybe the Canucks can work a trade back dumping a contract but I’ve been musing about the jets pulling the same move to swipe 11oa.
