I think the Canes would need to have a commitment on both RFA’s contract before even considering trading anything for them.

I don't dislike the CAR trade, but that Max Domi deal is god awful. Keep him away from our team.
Giroux is coming off one if his best seasons ever and belongs in the top 6.
I think Joseph could get a mid to late pick at the draft, if not he'd certainly be claimed off waivers. We don't need to pay to ditch him.

The top three lines are all interchangeable.

I looked at the free agency pool and four names come to mind for that spot:

Michael Bunting, Max Domi, Ivan Barbashev, and Tyler Bertuzzi.

I'd keep Giroux with Stützle and Tkachuk (that line was pure fire). And if you want to add another forward after trading for Necas go for Evan Rodrigues.
He'd sign for cheaper and wouldn't cause the fanbase the shame that Domi most certainly will.
