That's not an entirely unreasonable Auston Matthews return. It will never ever happen, but it's more realistic than the ones that have Byfield, Clarke, and Kempe going back to Toronto.

How do you expect to win when you downgrade Matthews to Byfield?

Boeser is also a cap dump and no body wants Miller.

Plus the Leafs can buyout Murray with minimal damage.
