Description

Giving up a lot to get rid of Granlund, and get something back to recoup a bit of cost. Wouldn’t need to be AZ, could be anyone with a bit of space.
Boston likely matches however they have no 1C or 2C, and 5m already in Ullmark. Given that goalies don’t really fetch that much a mid 2nd rounder seems reasonable.

It won't cost much to buyout Granlund. We can get rid of him without costing us any assets.
Domi's worth like $4.5M at most. That's a terrible offer for what he brings to the table.
Mikkola isn't a top 4 defenseman. We have the cap space for Graves/Gavrikov if we don't overpay Domi.

I’d personally rather spend that money on Bretuzzi than Domi.

That’s a lot of dead weight UFAs’s. Yuck. We will hopefully just buyout Granlund. Lastly, there is no chance in the world that BOS doesn’t match that offer sheet. They’d maneuver to match it.

Just buyout Granlund instead. The hardest of passes on that Domi contract to play 3C.
