Chicago says yes I’d say but I’m pretty sure goodrow has NTC and Chicago isn’t a team I’d say he’d like to go to. Other than that thanks for the 2nd lol

Goodrow has a 16 team trade list, And i seriously doubt that last place Chicago is on it.

Alexis Lafreniere > Tyler Toffoli+Calgary 2023 2nd round pick.

Horrible Laffy trade. Toffoli is as much of a gamble as Laffy, with a one to two year window. Lots of teams taking a chance on this guy and it backfired big time.

Miller on a 2 year bridge deal at $3.5m would be a dream scenario for NYR.

Dream scenario is trading him for a top 4 guy that can actually play defense. Either that or move him to the wing cause he’s a defensive liability.

We’ll give you Ben Chiarot for him; he’s the exact opposite.

I find it highly unlikely CHI is going to take all of Goodrows Salary for the next 4 years for only a 2nd.

Also the fact of the NTC which has been pointed out.

Hawks should take this and then buy Goodrow out. The way his contract is structured, there's only one season where it isn't dirt cheap. This is practically a free 2nd rounder.

It didn't backfire on anyone whoever took a chance on him got exactly what they wanted from him, he won cups with the Kings as a strong contributor, he was really good for the Canucks and they were idiots for letting him go for nothing, then the Habs made the finals with him as again one of the top contributors, and now on the Flames hes been one of the more consistent players in a sea of inconsistency.

Toffo to this point has proven more than Laffy and is going to clearly be the better contributor right now because Laffy hasn't proven anyone wrong thats saying hes a bust.

He is not a bust 39 points on the 3rd line is not a bust. Toffoli did really well in Vancouver. Brought many cups. Flames too... a lot of cups.

Yeah im sorry idc what the excuse is a guy drafted 1st overall with that much hype never scoring more than 39 points, and doing absolutely nothing in a series the Rangers desperately needed him in not to mention how they were widely favoured to win and ended up choking to their rivals, so theres no way you can say that Laf isn't a bust to this point.

If bringing a cup is all that matters to a players value then ZIbanejad, Panarin, Kane, and Tarasenko backfired on the Rangers as well.

Toffoli was near PPG and fits the Rangers timeline well so its not a bad trade, i'd be wary as the Flames acquiring a guy whos basically turning into Nail Yakupov.

This season yes. How about the 8 somewhat season before that? And of you are that wary, don't aquire him then.

Btw was totally against getting Vlady and Kane. And I'm not that high on Kreider, Zibanejad and Panarin either. They do have NMC and definitely isn't waving. I do Toffoli for Panarin or Kreider easily.

The 8 seasons before that hes been a solid 50-60 pt contributor whos making less than 5 mil a year, yea personally I wouldn't go for Laf unless the price drops cause all I see from him are Nail Yakupov similarities.
