Can't see CLB trading the 3OA for the chance at having Lindholm longterm (if he'd even sign there). He's gonna want a big raise for long term and he'll be 30 at the end of his current deal. CAL just did the same thing with Kadri and are regretting it after year one.

A first line two way center is worth 3rd OA in this draft. Calgary doesn't want the 3rd OA they'd much prefer to extend Lindholm and keep him. The only way the Flames would do it is if he won't extend in Calgary. If Columbus doesn't want to trade that pick then it'd take Johnson or Sillinger+.
