Even without Peterson's contract, that is such a lowball of an offer. Flyers easily decline.

Not enough for Matthews... as any trades will come with an extension... and Drew won't be trade anywhere !
I don't see the fit and the value coming back for TML

Moss_Bucket - What if Hart is not interested in resigning in PHI? Flyers are in for a long rebuild. Cal is a serviceable backstop under contract for only two years. (LA could even eat up to 20% AAV) Lizotte (RFA) is a tenacious fireplug that would fit in Philly quite well. Still, just having fun.

DomCholette - If Matthews decides that he is done with the Leafs, and only wants to play in LA LA land, a return of Drew Doughty plus plus should be pretty darn attractive to the Leafs.

That's too bad. I see Viktor as an ideal 'Stevie Y' type player, fitting perfectly into the 'Swedish Mafia' system that the Wings are building.

Just call Cal what it is. He’s a cap dump on a contract that should never have been given. You want to get rid of him. He’s not valuable to anyone. You still have to pay for Hart. And the rest of those pieces do not equal a starting goaltender of any quality.

Hart not resigning isn't part of that. If he doesn't want to resign, the Flyers will be able to find another team that would offer a better deal.

Correct. A cap dump, on Philly for Blake's contract mistake with CP. Good thing you'll be able to save money on playoff tickets for the next five years.
