Description

Maybe he’s just going to Montreal but if he would sign with Toronto.
Not sure what Winnipegs direction is but they get a top player in the league and a younger starting goalie for 2 players that seems like they will have trouble extending long term.
Don’t need Hellebuyck in this deal for Toronto, not sure if they will be able to extend him. Could just stick with samsonov but for a team trying to win the cup next year upgrading to Hellebuyck is worth the risk

If the Jets trade Helly and PLD they are tearing it down and would be looking for futures. I don't think Marner would do much for them.

Ya that crossed my mind too, maybe Marner could end up somewhere else and younger assets/picks go to Winnipeg. But seems like more complicated of a deal than you normally see in the NHL.

Value's there but i think winnipeg would rather trade helly for picks. Also don't see the leafs throwing that much money at PLD, Kane and Domi. PLD probably wouldnt want to come here anyways
