28 + 41 for 14? That’s even money based on the athletic trade chart.
41,42,43 is an overpayment in all the charts I’ve looked at.
I figured Pit’s pipeline was bare and three 2nds would be ideal.

This was the first time in 11 seasons the Pittsburgh has missed the playoffs and they don't have much at all in terms of prospects. If they are going to make another run at the cup 3 2nd rd picks don't have much value. If they start to rebuild that have some big trade pieces and will more than likely be adding a couple more 1st to the one they have.

Isn't my team nor is it my fanbase, but that team stinks outside of the top. I personally would try to start the rebuild before they end up like Post-Holland Detroit.

It's not far fetched but I think the Penguins make that pick. Only trade down scenario I see for them is something like early 20s plus a second and third for that pick.
