at least the trade is good tho. Fills the big obvious need the Jackets have, and it doesn't kill them long term if there's no resign. I'd say throw on a condition on the pick and it should be right for both sides.

I might disagree. Yes, Scheif fills a hole in the middle, but his value is tanked on the account he had a very underwhelming season. You did mention adding a condition to the pick, however, I wanna stress the fact that pick will probably be anywhere from 1-10. Too much for Scheif.

And I strongly believe the jackets are too far out to be contenders, and Scheif doesn't do a whole lot to change that.
Although, that first line would be fun to see.
