While I personally think TK is worth a bit more, this trade would work and I'd be happy to see him go to Detroit above most other teams.

1st Leafs don’t need a cap dump they have like 30 mill in cap space once Murray and Muzzin go on LTIR.

2nd Brodie is the Leafs best DMan he’s not a cap dump.

Don’ retain and Sharks send less. As a rebuilder picks are very important.
